Abstract

The paper discusses a computational model suitable for the monitoring and execution of multiple co-existing goals inside an autonomous agent. The model uses a number of mechanisms to calculate dynamically goal priority. We provide an overview of the model, a discussion of a Cognitive Agent architecture that includes it and we provide results that support the current design. We conclude with a discussion of the results, points of interest and future work. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2006.
