Abstract

Penelitian ini memahami (1) Upaya Yayasan Al-Abror dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru TPQ, (2) Faktor yang mendukung serta menghambat dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru TPQ, (3) Hasil peningkatan kompetensi guru TPQ. Penelitian ini menggunakan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi, wawancara, dan observasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan model analisis deskriptif yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, dan penarikan kesimpulan (verifikasi). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1)Upaya meningkatkan kompetensi guru TPQ di Kecamatan Kebomas Kabupaten Gresik antara lain: upaya pengorganisasian pembelajaran, upaya penyampaian pembelajaran, upaya pengolaan pembelajaran, dan faktor pendukung lainnya. Upaya pengorganisasian pembinaan di Yayasan Al-Abror adalah: menata langkah-langkah pembinaan  yang akan dilakukan pembina, memahami kepribadian peserta didik, memahami landasan pendidikan, teori belajar dan pembelajaran, mengembangkan peserta didik untuk pengembangan potensi akademik, melalui kegiatan pembinaan.(2) Faktor yang mendukung dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru TPQ di Kecamatan Kebomas adalah salah satunya seorang pembina yang professional, lingkungan yang mendukung serta sarana prasarana yang memadahi dan faktor penghambatnya adalah peserta pembinaan yang kurang bisa konsisten dalammengikuti pembinaan sehingga tertinggal materi, (3) Hasil dari peningkatan kompetensi guru TPQ di Kecamatan Kebomas yakni, guru-guru yang mengikuti pembinaan di Yayasan Al-Abror, banyak yang lulus ketika mengikuti diklat dan mendapatkan syahadah (ijazah guru). This study understands (1) the efforts of the Al-Abror Foundation in improving the competence of TPQ teachers, (2) the factors that support and hinder in improving the competence of TPQ teachers, (3) The results of increasing the competence of TPQ teachers. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques using documentation, interviews, and observations. The data were analyzed using a descriptive analysis model consisting of data collection, and drawing conclusions (verification). The results of this study indicate that: (1) Efforts to improve the competence of TPQ teachers in Kebomas District, Gresik Regency include: efforts to organize learning, efforts to deliver learning, efforts to manage learning, and other supporting factors. Efforts to organize coaching at the Al-Abror Foundation are: arranging the steps of coaching that will be carried out by the coach, understanding the personality of students, understanding the educational foundation, learning and learning theory, developing students for the development of academic potential, through coaching activities. (2) Factors Those who support in improving the competence of TPQ teachers in Kebomas District are one of them a professional coach, a supportive environment and adequate infrastructure and the inhibiting factor is the coaching participants who are less able to be consistent in following the coaching so that the material is left behind, (3) The results of increasing teacher competence The TPQ in Kebomas District, namely, the teachers who took part in the coaching at the Al-Abror Foundation, many of whom graduated when attending the training and received the syahadah (teacher certificate).
