Pengembangan Modul Pembelajaran Berbasis Tematik Terpadu Tema “Peduli Terhadap Makhluk Hidup” Untuk Siswa Kelas IV Di Mit Ar Roihan Lawang Malang

Abstract

The development of an integrated thematic learning module is based on the fact that there are thematic learning problems, one of which is the thematic learning textbook fourth grade students at MIT Ar-Roihan Lawang Malang. The textbook quality is one of the problems that is able to hinder the success of the learning process. The learning module in madrassa or Islamic schools should have a distinctive characteristic and be developed with the Islamic nuances so that the purposes of madrasa or Islamic schools could be addressed.This study specifically aims to (1) result in integrated thematic based-learning modules themed "Caring for creatures" (2) describing the process of preparing the product of learning modules (3) testing the product of integrated thematic learning modules related to the effectiveness, efficiency and attractiveness. This study uses the method of research and development--as developed by Dick and Carey. The results showed that the integrated thematic-based learning modules have the high level of feasibility, effectiveness, efficiency and attractiveness of students. This could be seen from the results of content expert validation score amounted to 92,1% (very valid), media expert validation score amounted to 85% (very valid), learning expert validation score amounted to 83,7% (very valid). The results of field tests conducted by the fourth grade students at MIT Ar-Roihan Lawang Malang showed an increase in post-test results after using integrated thematic modules. Statistical data with the t-test analysis as a result of SPSS showing 15 sig. 0000 that is smaller than 0.005, means that there are significant differences between the results of student achievement before and after using integrated thematic learning modules. While the level of attractiveness of thematic modules based on the average of student assessment of all components reached 85.9% (very good). Based on the overall results of the data analysis, it can be conclude that the results of the development of learning modules have already fulfilled the needs effective and efficient learning, especially on thematic learning by using an integrated thematic approach themed "Caring for Creatures" at MIT Ar-Roihan Lawang Malang.
