This paper delves into the core principles of DeFi, highlighting its decentralized, transparent, and accessible nature. It examines the foundational role of blockchain in enabling secure, immutable, and peer-to-peer transactions without intermediaries. Key innovations such as smart contracts, decentralized exchanges, and tokenized assets are explored, demonstrating their potential to democratize financial services. The paper also addresses the challenges facing DeFi, including scalability, regulatory concerns, and security vulnerabilities, while proposing solutions for a sustainable future.
