Abstract

Lighting is a fundamental requirement of our daily life, especially for human circadian rhythm. The light could affect humans either positively or negatively, even if it does not get in contact with the eyes. A lot of researches and development is carried out in the field of daylight harvesting, which is the order of the day. One of the most desirable attributes of daylight harvesting is that daylight is available universally and it is cost-efficient form of energy. The impact of ambient temperature on human and its perception is also considered. Daylight harvesting in the most fundamental sense is the lighting strategy control of the artificial light in an interior space where daylight is also present so that the required illumination level is achieved. The paper is devoted to consideration of the affect of light parameters on human circadian rhythms. Design, structural and circuit diagrams are drawn up for the system of monitoring and adaptive control light parameters with taking into account current human state. The proposed system fulfils following functions: setting a certain color temperature in the room; lighting brightness adjustment; display of relevant user data on the display; switching the device on and off at a certain point in time, focusing on the real-time clock; connection control to device via Bluetooth by using certain device.
