Abstract

The application of an extended version of the coupled cluster method to systems exhibiting a quantum phase transition was discussed. Predictions were modified that lead to the absence of zero temperature in (1 + 1) and (3 + 1) dimensions as an example. Simple predictions were analyzed using the lattice nonlinear sigma model.
