Abstract

The solubility in benzene and ethanol of 2,8,12,18-tetramethyl-3,7,13,17- tetrabutylporphyrin with various substituents in the 5,15-positions of the molecule is investigated. A compaxative analysis of the influence of alkyl substituents on porphyrin solubility is caxried out.
