Akne skar yang diterapi dengan punch elevation: laporan kasus

Abstract

Introduction: Acne vulgaris is a common skin inflammatory disease and can cause complications in the form of atrophy scars that have a significant impact on the quality of life of the patient. One of therapeutic modalities used to handle boxcar type Akne is punch elevation. This method aims to increase the aesthetics of the skin by leveling the atrophy schefish tissue so that it is parallel to the surrounding surface of the skin. This case study aims to describe the effectiveness of punch elevation in dealing with severe acne scars. Case Description: A 45 -year -old man comes with complaints of acne scars that interfere with the aesthetics of his face. Patients have a history of chronic acne vulgaris with a boxcar and rolling type multiple multiple atrophy scars on the cheeks and chin. Evaluation with Goodman and Baron Qualitative Global Scarring Grading System indicates a degree IV (severe). Patients undergo punch elevation therapy, where the scars are elevated using a punch biopsy tool to be parallel to the surface of the normal skin. After 9 days after action, significant clinical improvements occur without significant complications. Conclusion: Punch elevation is proven to be an effective therapeutic modality for boxcar type Akne Skar, with a significant result of improvement of skin texture. Post-procedure evaluation shows the improvement from SKAR degrees IV to III. This technique can be considered as the therapy of choice for patients with deep atrophy skills.   Pendahuluan: Acne vulgaris merupakan penyakit inflamasi kulit yang umum dan dapat menyebabkan komplikasi berupa skar atrofi yang berdampak signifikan terhadap kualitas hidup pasien. Salah satu modalitas terapi yang digunakan untuk menangani skar akne tipe boxcar adalah punch elevation. Metode ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan estetika kulit dengan meratakan jaringan skar atrofi sehingga sejajar dengan permukaan kulit sekitarnya. Studi kasus ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan efektivitas punch elevation dalam menangani skar akne berat. Deskripsi Kasus: Seorang pria berusia 45 tahun datang dengan keluhan bekas jerawat yang mengganggu estetika wajahnya. Pasien memiliki riwayat acne vulgaris kronis dengan skar atrofi multipel tipe boxcar dan rolling pada pipi dan dagu. Evaluasi dengan Goodman dan Baron Qualitative Global Scarring Grading System menunjukkan skar derajat IV (berat). Pasien menjalani terapi punch elevation, di mana jaringan skar dielevasi menggunakan alat punch biopsi hingga sejajar dengan permukaan kulit normal. Setelah 9 hari pasca tindakan, terjadi perbaikan klinis yang signifikan tanpa komplikasi berarti. Simpulan: Punch elevation terbukti menjadi modalitas terapi yang efektif untuk skar akne tipe boxcar, dengan hasil perbaikan tekstur kulit yang signifikan. Evaluasi pasca prosedur menunjukkan perbaikan dari skar derajat IV menjadi III. Teknik ini dapat dipertimbangkan sebagai terapi pilihan bagi pasien dengan skar atrofi yang dalam.
