Abstract
This study analyzed University Social Responsibility (USR) as a cross-cutting axis in the professional training of Administration students at universities in eastern Peru. Using a qualitative ethnographic approach and a cross-sectional design, the perceptions of six top-performing students from the National Agrarian University of the Selva in 2024 were examined. Structured interviews, previously validated, were analyzed with the support of artificial intelligence, classifying narratives into high, medium, and low levels of agreement. Findings indicate that students perceive the university as a promoter of ethical values, social responsibility, and sustainability, with community impact through outreach projects. However, they identify weaknesses in curricular integration, linkage with the business sector, faculty training aligned with USR principles, and the creation of safe spaces for student participation. The study concludes that USR is a transformative process whose effectiveness depends on strong curricular articulation, committed faculty, and strategic partnerships that connect learning with real social issues, contributing to sustainable development and the Sustainable Development Goals.
