MENGOPTIMALKAN POTENSI DESA PAYAMAN: PERAN PROGRAM PPK ORMAWA DALAM PENGEMBANGAN UMKM BERBASIS TECHNOSOSIOPRENEUR

Abstract

Payaman Village, located on the outskirts of Magelang City, has great potential in developing micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKM). Because of its religious tourism attraction, namely the tomb of Kyai Siraj Abdurrasyid. With a population of around 6,451 people and the presence of thousands of pilgrims every day, this village has the opportunity to improve community welfare through UMKM empowerment. The Student Organization Capacity Strengthening Program (PPK Ormawa) initiated by the Student Representative Council of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Tidar University, seeks to maximize the potential of local superior food products through a technosociopreneur approach. This program combines technological innovation and social strategies in business development to increase product competitiveness in a wider market. The training covers various aspects such as managing Business Identification Numbers (NIB), halal certification, UMKM management, and digital marketing. Evaluation of eight main indicators showed significant improvements after the training, reflecting the success of the program in empowering UMKM and improving community welfare. The results of this training and mentoring are expected to provide a positive contribution to local economic growth and business sustainability in Payaman Village.
