Abstract

This study tries to analyze the teaching of the graphic design subjects in the curricula of the degrees related to advertising communication in the Spanish universities from various criteria, such as the educational methods, the professional career and the technological competences of the teachers. Using a quantitative survey technique, the research reveals that, although the profile of these professors is very heterogeneous in some aspects, there are many similarities in points such as the professional experience, their training or the importance given to the practical learning and the use of technology.
