Abstract

Osteomalacia of dietary origin was diagnosed in three pregnant women, members of the Asian community in Birmingham. It is important to exclude this disease in immigrants who complain of skeletal pains, particularly during pregnancy. ADDENDUM.—During the last six months three similar cases have been seen in the obstetric department of this hospital. © 1966, British Medical Journal Publishing Group. All rights reserved.
