Acibenzolar-S-methyl, and potassium and calcium phosphites are not effective to control downy mildew of onion in Brazil

Abstract

Downy mildew of onion requires the most fungicide applications in southern Brazil. This work evaluated whether acibenzolar-S-methyl, and calcium and potassium phosphites were effective fungicide treatments against downy mildew. However, none of these products were effective in the disease management.
