Abstract

The vision of Batu City is as an organic tourism center based on international tourism. But in reality the development of Batu City is very dense and full of development. This study aims to create a vegetation density index using the normalization method of differences in vegetation index (NDVI) for a period of 15 years from 2003 to 2018. The results obtained are changes in land use when viewed from the vegetation density in that period. To achieve the vision of Batu City, are needed green planning, regulation and climate conservation activities
