Strategy and geography: Geostrategy

Abstract

Scientific and technological progress can lead to the false conclusion that geography is no longer the limitation that it always meant. But despite technological advances, physical reality stubbornly imposes its reality, adding another layer of complexity to the analysis of conventional geopolitics. Throughout this study we will see how the evolution of the interpretation of geography has affected the strategic interpretation that human communities have obtained from it. To do this, we will begin in the classics, to analyze next the terrestrial, naval and air geostrategic interpretations (through the figures that make up the main world references), giving some brushstroke on outer space and cyberspace, ending with conclusions.
