Abstract

Two new anthraquinone glycosides Strepnoneside A (1) and Strepnoneside B (2), together with Chromomycin A 3 (3), were isolated from cultures of the marine Streptomyces sp. strain. The structures were elucidated on the basis of NMR spectroscopic and mass spectrometry data. Compound 3 exhibited cytotoxic activities against HCT 116 cell lines (IC 50 = 300 ± 11 pM). © 2012 Phytochemical Society of Europe.
