Abstract

We report on the isolation and structural determination of and synthetic studies with constituents of the West African medicinal plants Tabernaemontana glandulosa, Carissa edulis (Apocynaceae), Canthium subcordatum (Rubiaceae), Hexalobus crispiflorus (Annonaceae), Uvariaelliotiana (Annonaceae), Annonidium manii (Annonaceae), Cochlospermum planchonii (Cochlospermaceae) and Iboza riparia (Labiatae). © 1986 IUPAC
