Abstract

The study was conducted in Parakansalak Village, Parakansalak Subdistrict, Sukabumi Regency, West Java Province in 2018. Prior to the study, coordination with the core business management was begun to produce superior local chicken seeds. Then proceed to institutional development, as a provider of superior local chicken seedlings to facilitate core farmers as partners. The purpose of this study was to determine the economic and institutional industrial models in the local chicken business integrated in farmers. The results of the study in the first month of KUB chicken egg production were lower than SenSi chicken at 9.85% vs. 13.12%. In the second month, it was 25.52% vs 27.98%, and the third and subsequent months of KUB chicken egg production increased higher than SenSi chicken by 34.65% vs. 31.50%. The average production of 4-month KUB chicken eggs is 32.84% higher than that of SenSi chicken which is 27.27%. KUB chicken production in quadratic Y=-0.1931x2+6.2801x-5.3958; R²= 0.84401. Production of SenSi chicken in quadratic Y=-0.1794x2+4.7075x+3.5922; R²= 0.71539. The advantage of core farmers is IDR. 80,439,725 or IDR.6,703,310/month, the rate of profit for production costs is 26.74%/period or 2.23% / month and the efficiency level of R/C is 1.38.Institutional support for the superior local livestock industry capital of Balitbangtan through nucleus-plasma, for the production of hatching eggs, DOC, pullet and seeds. The business of superior local chicken in Balitbangtan can sustainably improve the health of farmers.
