Abstract

Invited for this month's cover picture is the Campinas Electrochemistry Group, University of Campinas (Brazil). At the center of the covert art, the self-organization of a super-hero is taking place, yielding a shield and a sword that symbolizes the structured materials. This hero, yet to this point not fully complete, could have a pivotal role in a fight for a more sustainable world, as a self-organized weapon can display unprecedented chemical properties.
