Abstract

Pisaura novicia (L. Koch, 1878) is found in Ukraine for the first time; it is also recorded from the southeastern regions of European Russia and Abkhazia. Illustrated redescriptions and diagnoses of P. novicia and P. mirabilis (Clerck, 1757) are provided. Spatial distribution and seasonal dynamics of activity of both species in the Crimea are given. © ARTHROPODA SELECTA, 2012.
