POTENSI DAN NILAI MANFAAT JASA LINGKUNGAN HUTAN MANGROVE DI KABUPATEN SINJAI SULAWESI SELATAN

Abstract

The mangrove forests are main ecosystem of important life supporter in coastal region and ocean. The Mangrove forests also have important economic function like, wood feeders, foliages as raw material medicine and others. The objective of this research was to know direct utilization value and potencies of forest mangrove. Observation was done with observation method of field through making of fairish measure check 10 m x 10 m for every stand strata type. Direct interview was done by using questionaire to 30 selected responders. The Results showed coastal communityof Sinjai Timur that a number public in the of coastal area exploiti mangrove forest directly in the form of wood, fruit and each mangrove leaf counted 67%, 20% and 13%.Economic quantification and assessment, were wood benefit for the value of Rp 7.85 million/ha/year, fruit of mangrove for the price of Rp 2.04 million/ha/year and mangrove leaf for the price of Rp 1.72 million/ha/year as a whole a number of Rp 11.61 million/ha/year. Acquirement estimate of biggest mangrove forest resource with direct benefit economics value were obtained from wood product for construction material that was for the value of Rp 847.27 million/year, herei nafter product fruit of mangrove as source of seed for the value of Rp 779.28 million/year, firewood product for the price of Rp 584.80 million/year and smallest obtained from mangrove leaf as foodder product for the value of Rp 292.40 million/year.
