Abstract

The article reports on the results of an investigation involving an aerobic cycling program for multiple sclerosis patients with the goal of improving their functional abilities. The author focuses on 2 related topics including determining real change and the need for continued physical exercise. The measurement of minimal detectable change is evaluated. Specific types of exercise are assessed according to the most effective for those suffering from multiple sclerosis. The standard error of measurement is noted as part of the research.
