Abstract

The article focuses on the importance of security risk management (SRM) in human resource (HR) information systems. It notes the use of HR information systems in attracting job applicants, automating training and development, and managing employee performance. It also highlights the mechanisms of SRM that an organization implements to counter and prevent an information security related event. According to the authors, HR information systems also increase information accessibility and accuracy.
