The aim of the research was to find out: 1) the direct effect of learning independence on learning achievement of Natural Sciences, 2) the direct effect of learning interest on learning achievements of Natural Sciences, 3) the direct effect of learning independence on learning interest, 4) the indirect effect of learning independence on learning achievement of Natural Sciences through interest in learning. The results of the study prove, that: (1) there is a significant direct influence of learning independence on science learning achievement of public junior high school students in Mampang Prapatan District. This is evidenced by the value of Sig. 0.043 <0.05 (2) there was a significant direct effect of learning interest on science learning achievement on students of Public Middle School in Mampang Prapatan. This is evidenced by the value of Sig. 0.024 <0.05 (3) there is a significant direct effect of learning independence on the learning interest of public junior high school students in Mampang Prapatan District. This is evidenced by the value of Sig. = 0.001 <0.05 (4) there is an insignificant indirect effect of learning independence on science learning achievement through the learning interest of public junior high school students in Mampang Prapatan District. This is evidenced by the Thitung of 0.59
