Edukasi Cuci Tangan dan Etika Batuk pada Murid SDIT Permataku Dadok Tunggul Hitam Padang

Abstract

ABSTRAK          Dampak dari pandemi COVID-19 telah memberikan banyak perubahan dari berbagai bidang kehidupan, salah satu bidang yang paling terdampak yaitu bidang pendidikan. Salah satu cara menurunkan angka penularan COVID-19 yaitu melaksanakan kegiatan di rumah melalui pembelajaran daring secara online. Kegiatan ini telah dilaksanakan selama lebih dari satu setengah tahun seiring dengan menurunnya kasus COVID-19. Saat ini diberlakukannya pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas di masa pandemi COVID-19 merupakan hal yang kontroversi. Hal ini dikarenakan sekolah merupakan salah satu tempat yang berpotensi menjadi penularan penyakit infeksi termasuk infeksi COVID-19. Tindakan pencegahan diperlukan agar penularan ini tidak terjadi. Tujuan kegiatan yaitu memberikan solusi kepada mitra dengan pemberian edukasi berupa penyuluhan dan praktik secara langsung tentang cuci tangan 6 langkah yang benar menggunakan hand sanitizer dan sabun serta etika batuk sehingga dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa-siswi. Edukasi ini dilakukan secara tatap muka dengan pemberian materi melalui infocus dan pemberian kuesioner pre-test sebelum pemberian edukasi dan post-test setelah edukasi. Kuesioner diberikan untuk mengukur pengetahuan siswa siswi. Hasil pre-test pada pengetahuan tentang mencuci tangan pakai sabun menunjukkan hasil yang baik, dengan rata-rata 86,38% menjawab benar dan pada pos-test meningkat menjadi 90,38%. Pengetahuan tentang Cara Mencuci Tangan meningkat dari 83.81% menjadi 92.38%. Pengetahuan Tentang Etika Batuk meningkat dari 87.14% menjadi 90.71%. Berdasarkan hasil data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan siswa siswi SDIT permataku tentang mencuci tangan pakai sabun, pengetahuan tentang cara mencuci tangan, pengetahuan tentang etika batuk. Kata Kunci: Edukasi, Cuci tangan, Etika batuk, Covid-19  ABSTRACT The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has provided many changes in various fields of life, one of the areas most affected is education. One way to reduce the transmission rate of COVID-19 is to carry out activities at home through online learning. This activity has been carried out for more than a year and a half in line with the decline in COVID-19 cases. Currently, the implementation of limited face-to-face learning during the COVID-19 pandemic is a matter of controversy. This is because schools are one of the places that have the potential to transmit infectious diseases, including COVID-19 infection. Precautions are needed so that this transmission does not occur. The purpose of this activity is to provide solutions to partners by providing education in the form of counseling and direct practice about hand washing in the 6 correct steps using hand sanitizer and soap and cough etiquette so as to increase students' knowledge. This education is carried out face-to-face by providing material through infocus and giving pre-test questionnaires before giving education and post-testing after education. Questionnaires were given to measure students' knowledge.The results of the pre test on knowledge about hand washing with soap showed good results, with an average of 86.38% answering correctly and in the post test increasing to 90.38%. Knowledge of how to wash hands increased from 86.51% to 90.95%. Knowledge of Cough Ethics increased from 87.14% to 90.71%. Based on the results of these data, it can be concluded that there was an increase in the knowledge of SDIT Permataku students about washing hands with soap, knowledge about how to wash hands, knowledge about cough etiquette. Keywords: Education, Washing Hands, Cough Etiqutte, Covid-19
