Abstract

The principle of transparency, being transversal in public administration, also extends to the Judicial Branch. However, opacity and lack of access to information are characteristic features of the justice administration system, especially in the case of Peru, despite the efforts that have been made at the legislative level in that country. The above has a negative impact on the perception of citizens regarding the levels of corruption in the justice administration system, which is detrimental to the image of the Judicial Branch itself and of the people who are part of it. Thus, the need to create a Transparency Commission in the Judicial Branch will be analyzed to highlight the importance of this principle, carrying out dissemination work on active and passive judicial transparency.
