Abstract

The approximate analytical solution of Schrodinger equation in D-Dimensions for Scarf trigonometry potential were investigated using Nikiforov-Uvarov method. The bound state energy are given in the close form and the corresponding wave function for arbitary l-state in D-dimensions are formulated in the form of generalized Jacobi Polynomials. The example of bound state energy and wave function in 3, 4, and 5 dimensions presented in condition of ground state to second excited state. The existence of arbitrary dimensions increase bound state energy and the amplitude of the wave function of this potential. The effect of the presence of Scarf trigonometry potential increase the energy spectrum of this potential. © 2013 AIP Publishing LLC.
