They influence the humidity, improve the air quality, bind dust, absorb carbon dioxide and other harmful substances and emit oxygen. During photosynthesis, all plants remove carbon dioxide and emit oxygen into the air for us to breathe. All plants remove impurities or volatile organic compounds from the air by absorbing them through their leaves. Over the past several years' studies have shown how plants have positive healing effects on humans. In the last two million years, people have evolved in open spaces, clusters of vegetation, greenery and in nature, and recognize that plants profoundly affect their environment -their homes, workplaces, schools and healthcare facilities.
