Abstract

A simple method with the injection of horse serum to increase the number of mitotic cells in the kidney tissue of fishes is recommended as follows: (1) Inject 0.2 g horse serum (per 10 g body weight of the specimen) into the muscle; (2) inject again by the same way on the fourth day after the first injection; and (3) prepare chromosome slides as usual on the fifth day after the first injection. © 1980, The Japan Academy.
