Abstract

In this paper, a framework for fingerprint recognition is introduced. The framework contains several algorithms for fingerprint matching and feature extraction, as well as the evaluation protocol for several fingerprint verification competitions. All the algorithms are implemented in C# providing the source code which researchers can review, reuse or modify. In order to show the framework relevance, an experimental comparison among different matching algorithms is presented. © 2014 Springer International Publishing.
