Abstract

Humans spend more than 80% of their time indoor, therefore indoor air quality has a critical effect on the quality of health. It is necessary to keep our indoor environment clean and healthy to ensure good health. As the air quality has major influence on the health of people, it is necessary to keep our indoor environment clean and healthy. The main objective of this project is to provide real time information to assist the better living of the people. Because of the large variety of indoor pollutants, the air monitor should be designed multi-sensory and portable with acceptable sensitivity. The system will detect the level of the several gases like Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) and also the presence of dust, temperature, and humidity. The system will alert the user if levels of these gases are exceeded through Wi-Fi module on their smart phones.
