Abstract

This study aims to increase the activity and learning outcomes of class XI ATR 1 SMKN 1 Cangkringan students with a Problem Based Learning model. The subjects of this study were students of class XI ATR 1 SMKN 1 Cangkringan which consisted of 32 students with 3 female students and 29 male students. The research took place in 2 cycles consisting of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation and observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used are tests, observations and documentation. The instruments used in this study include learning activity observation sheets, teacher observation sheets and test questions. The results showed an increase in student activity and student learning outcomes from cycle 1 to cycle 2. In cycle 1 the percentage of student activity was 51.25%, in cycle 2 it increased to 86.26%. Student learning outcomes in cycle 1 are 73.25 with an average score of 62.5% and an increase in learning completeness in cycle 2, with an average score of 85 and 87.5%. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that there is an increase in student activity and learning outcomes by applying the Problem Based Learning model to the material for implementing prevention of broiler ruminants disease in class XI ATR 1 SMK Negeri 1 Cangkringan in the Even Semester of the 2021/2022 Academic Year.
