A new Scutpelecopsis Marusik & Gnelitsa from Romania (Araneae, Linyphiidae, Erigoninae)

Abstract

A new species, S. loricata sp. n., is described from the southern Carpathians, Romania, differing from the two known congeners by details of the palp and epigyne conformation. All records of Scutpelecopsis krausi (Wunderlich, 1980) from the Caucasus actually refer to 5. wunderlichi Marusik & Gnelitsa, 2009, thus the known distribution of S. krausi remains restricted to the type locality in Macedonia.
