Impact and Limits of Artificial Intelligence in the Legal Practice

Abstract

This article, developed from a perspective of qualitative research based on bibliographical review, finds its primary objective in the study of the impact of artificial intelligence in the field of law, analyzing it from two specific perspectives: firstly, the use of artificial intelligence in the legal practice is studied, focusing on legal analytics and legal heuristics; secondly, the paper addresses the guarantee of legal rights and principles vis-a-vis the use of artificial intelligence tools, in order to establish its relevance within a correct practice and administration of justice.
