bb.1056 .Production Costs. IEA-SP method. Are presented in this article, the results of a research carried out at the Agronomy Post-graduate Program of Agricultural Sciences College (UNESP), Botucatu Campus, from 2012 to 2014. The goal of this study was to evaluate the productivity, costs of production and the soybean economic profitability in rotation usages and crop succession. Data were obtained from two farms, located in Ourinhos, State of Sao Paulo. Calculations and cost analysis approach of the Institute of Agricultural Economics (IEA) comprehending the real operational cost and the whole operating cost were used as well as the profitability indicatory. The production costs data and the selling price, were informed by farmers and refer to the 2012/13 crop year. Production cost per unit area on rotation was lower than 2.5% over the succession procedure. The unit costs on succession were 10.5% higher, while the yield in the practice of rotation had better economic indices, since the productivity of rotation per unit area was 8.9% greater than in the succession.
