Abstract

Paralisia cerebral (PC) é uma causa comum de deficiênciafísica, e é definida como um grupo não progressivo dedesordens do desenvolvimento, do movimento e dapostura. A Gameterapia (Realidade Virtual) serve paraincentivar a atividade cerebral do paciente e até recuperarmovimentos. Existem jogos orientados por um treinadorvirtual, para a tonificação de músculos, atividadesaeróbicas, ioga e treinos de equilíbrio. O objetivo desteartigo é descrever a importância da gameterapia nareabilitação de pacientes com paralisia cerebral. Esta éuma revisão sistemática da literatura por meios das fontesde dados eletrônicas Scielo, Google Acadêmico, BioMedCentral, PEDro. SUMMARYCerebral Palsy (CP) is a common cause of physical disability,and is defined as a non-progressive group of developmental,movement and posture disorders. Gametherapy (VirtualReality) serves to encourage the patient’s brain activity andeven to recover movements. There are games guided bya virtual coach, for muscle toning, aerobic activities, yogaand balance training. The aim of this article is to describethe importance of game therapy in the rehabilitation ofpatients with cerebral palsy. This is a systematic review ofthe literature by means of electronic data sources Scielo,Google Academico, BioMed Central, PEDro.
