Abstract

Relics of the beginnings of the early Jomon period were found on the Recent Dunes I-1 and of the late Jomon period were found on the Recent Dunes II. Confirms that those sand dunes were correlated with the Recent Dunes II. Hypothesizes about the relation between the supply of sand grains and volcanic activity.
