Circular economy: an innovative strategy to improve business sustainability

Abstract

The main purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between the circular economy and the business sustainability of Empresa Agraria Azucarera Andahuasi, Sayán-2022. Regarding the methodological part, the research focused on a quantitative approach, non-experimental transectional design and correlational level. The population presented 1200 workers, of which 291 workers participated. For data management, the survey was used and a questionnaire was designed, whose data showed with an asymptotic significance lower than 0,05 (p<0,05) and a positive and moderate correlation of 0,541 that the circular economy has a direct relationship with the corporate sustainability of the Empresa Agraria Azucarera Andahuasi, Sayán-2022, and that, therefore, in the company in question there is a regular circular economy, that is, there is a measured application of the actions regenerate, share, optimize, close the circle, digitize and replace that allow the transition to the circular economy, leading to the fact that there is a corporate sustainability, also regular.
