Abstract

With the presented hybrid processing concept the coupling of different development tools is easily possible when there is a need for modelling system-spreading processes. With the help of the graphic editor processes can be both modelled and dynamically as well as flexibly adapted to new structures. For this, only the knowledge of the process which should be converted does matter. Through the centralization of the processes and its components server-oriented storage and processing of the programs are possible. A future step of development may be the creation of an independent editor tool which can implement both processes and process components. In this case, EON-Studio as a demonstration tool would not be necessary. Further the integration of a modelling assistance that only permits correct connections of process components would secure early recognition of incompatible process components and thus increase the process security. © Carl Hanser Verlag, M̈nchen.
