Abstract
The development of information technology encourages businesses to adopt digital systems in operational activities, one of which is in the sales process. This research discusses the design and development of a website-based Sales Information System (POS) using the Agile method and system performance testing through performance testing. The Agile method was chosen because of its iterative and flexible nature, allowing system development in stages and adaptive to changing user needs. Performance testing was conducted using Apache JMeter to simulate various user scenarios, such as simultaneous transactions, mass login, and long-term system load. The test results show that the system is capable of handling up to 200 active users simultaneously with an average response time below 3 seconds and a low error rate. However, in the 300-user spike scenario, there was an increase in response time and a slight error, indicating the need for further optimization. Overall, the system was found to be feasible and quite stable in a small to medium-sized operational environment.
