Abstract

Two new dammarane-type saponins, named ginsenoside Ki (1a) and ginsenoside Km (1b), along with 15 known ones (2-16), were isolated from the leaves of Panax ginseng. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of chemical and spectroscopic methods. © 2009 Pharmaceutical Society of Japan.
