Multicultural education is currently busy and interesting to discuss, especially it is closely related to the formation of the character of tolerance for the realization of shared ideals, namely harmony, peace, and prosperity, this is the main reason for researchers to explore this phenomenon. Therefore, this study aims to determine the application of multicultural education at SDN Wanasari I. This research method uses a phenomenological qualitative approach. Methods of data collection using observation, analysis of data documentation, and interviews. While the sources of research are school principals and teachers. The results of the study show that the application of multicultural education at SDN Wanasari I by teaching it from an early age integrates various subjects, the role of the teacher as a teacher, and instills multicultural values. Supporting factors include the role of the school principal, the teacher's role, school climate, the school principal's activities and programs, and the learning curriculum as well as inhibiting factors including infrastructure and lack of learning media. The implication of this research is that readers and administrators of education can get a complete picture related to the dynamics of multicultural education through the deepening and formation of the character of tolerance which then gives birth to a civilization and religious harmony which then creates harmony in a plurality.
