Abstract

The article presents information on the Third International Symposium on Social Occupational Therapy, held at the Federal University of São Carlos, Brazil, during April 28-29, 2016. Topics discussed at the event included social and occupational therapy activities in Brazil; the role of the occupational therapist for the rights arising from citizenship; and education and training in social occupational therapy in Brazil.
