Abstract

5 RCTs were selected and analyzed qualitatively, 4 articles (1 RCT and 3 SRs) evaluated results in maxillary sinus lift surgery not showing differences using PRF compared to the traditional technique. For bone regeneration of the alveolar ridge, 2 RCTs indicated that PRF in combination with autogenous bone improves bone volume.
