Abstract

Islamic finance requires set of skills and qualifications relevant to its products and services and the lack of properly trained personnel is one of the strongest criticisms facing the Islamic finance industry.The results of the study revealed that almost all respondents agreed that the biggest challenges facing Islamic finance industry included the lack of quality teaching materials, lack of standardized curriculum, lack of coordination among Islamic finance education providers as well as the lack of highly qualified scholars.
