See, stats, and : https : / / www . researchgate.net/publication/290995396Double-SkinBuildings:ASustainableArticleDOI:10.5901/mjss.2015.v6n6s6p237CITATIONS0READS502,including:Some:TheAliShahid14SEEAll.The.Doi:10.5901/mjss.2015.v6n6s6p237AbstractInrecentyears,anewmethodcalledDouble-skinfacadeshasbeeninnovatedinEuropeancountries,especiallyGermany,NetherlandsandEngland.With30percentsaveinenergyconsumption,providingproperair-conditioninginbuilding,significantreductionofunpleasantnoisesandtransparentdesign,thisfacadehastrulyprovidedconveniencefortheresidents,andhavegainedalotofpopularity.Activefacade(Double-skinfacades)isafacadethatcoveronorseveralfloorofbuildingwithmultipletransparentcovers.Theselayerscaneitherweatherproofornot.Theapplicationofsustainabledevelopmentinarchitecturehasbroughtaboutnewtopicsknownassustainablearchitecture,ecologyarchitecture,greenarchitectureandenvironmentarchitecturewhichhavesimilarmeaningsandallrelatetothetypeofarchitecturethatiscompatiblewiththeenvironment.Oneofthemostimportantaspectsofsustainabledevelopmentisinfactsustainablearchitecture,asmorethanhalfofgreenhousegasesarecreatedinresidentialplaces.consideringthattheamountofgreenhousegasesisdevelopingcountriesismorethanthatofdevelopedcountries,theissuesustainabilityinarchitecturebecomesmoresignificant.Byinvestigatingdouble-skinfacadesandtheirfunction,thisstudyisattemptingtopresentasolutiontointroducethisfacadeasareplacementforfacadesofexaltedbuildings,andtotakeleapforthereservationofnationaltreasureforfuturegenerations.
