Patient safety perception of nurses as related to patient safety management performance in Tertiary Hospitals

Abstract

Purpose: This study was done to identify the relationship between perception of the importance and job performance of patient safety management. Methods: This descriptive study was performed using self-report questionnaires. Participants were 200 nurses who worked at 4 tertiary university hospitals where data were collected for 4 weeks in June 2016. Results: The scores for perception and performance were 4.28 and 4.37 points.
