Abstract

The Ruzizi Plain deposits show evidence of alternating savannah and semi-arid cliamtes deduced from geomorphology (calcretes - ferricretes - stone-line), sedimentology (meandering river-braided river-sheetflood deposits), and pedology (Gley-Pseudogley-Alfisol-Calcrete paleosols). -Authors
