Abstract
This research aims to determine the management of archives at the Paloh Subdistrict Office starting from the creation of archives, storage, use, maintenance and depreciation, the obstacles faced as well as efforts to overcome obstacles so that they can be used to support orderly administration at the Paloh Subdistrict Office, Sambas Regency. The method used in this research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that good archive management is very necessary so that the data presented can be more accurate and precise. The archive management process carried out by the Paloh Subdistrict Office already follows Regent Regulation Number 50 of 2019, however there are still several obstacles faced, including facilities and infrastructure for archiving and the absence of special staff to handle archives so that archiving is carried out in each section. Suggestions given for this research include maintaining and maintaining existing facilities and infrastructure so that archives can be maintained and protected from damage. Besides that . So that staff or employees at the Paloh District Office can manage archives well, archive managers should be included in courses or training in archives and the use of advanced technology.
