Abstract

The aim of this comment is to show how the model equations used by Ghosh [Phys. Plasmas 7, 3594 (2000)] are completely inconsistent, and to provide a guideline for a consistent dusty plasma model which is appropriate for the study of the nonlinear properties of the dust ion acoustic solitary waves. © 2008 American Institute of Physics.
